Mean Green Deposit Machine Frequently Asked Questions

What does my business need to implement the MGDM?
Most office PC’s with Windows and access to the Internet via Internet Explorer can accommodate the MGDM.

Is special software required?
No, a hardware driver for the scanner is provided.

Can checks be scanned at any time as received?
Yes, checks can be scanned individually, or in batches, which is suggested.

When checks are scanned are they available online for some time period?
Yes, both front and back images are available on line for five days and item data is available for 60 days. Businesses are advised to retain the actual checks for some time period as well.

Can a business have multiple users and/or multiple accounts using a single scanner?
Yes, an installed Mean Green Deposit Machine can accommodate multiple users scanning in to one or more accounts.

Can the scanner be used for scanning checks into personal accounts?
No, prudent security measures limit use to only business accounts.

How is availability of funds improved?
TEAM CAPITAL BANK will make funds available on the next business day on checks scanned by 5:00 PM.

Is the MGDM secure and fraud proof?
Yes, only designated users, with certain levels of submission and approval, password protected, can scan checks. Checks already scanned cannot be scanned more than once. The protection against fraud is no less than business procedures in place without the MGDM.

What are the economic benefits of the MGDM?
